I love the smell of freshly brewed coffee so much... Although to be honest, I don't drink coffee, and I don't really like the taste of it, but the smell is so heavenly! Nonetheless, I'm going to write about coffee today!
Everybody who likes coffee, or knows somebody who likes coffee, or still needs some Christmas gifts for friends and family this year, this is for you!!
BECAUSE I THINK THIS IS REALLY IMPORTANT!
I am supporting this campaign, because I truly believe that as consumers, we vote with our dollars. Wherever you spend your money, you're voting for what you're buying. Wherever possible, I find it so important to choose organic over non-organic, to go for local where there is local produce, and to buy from companies that are transparent and honest with the consumers.
This is why I'm sharing this with you, because I want Carmen, Erick, and Jhobinson to be able to live a good life, find meaning in the work that they do, and get paid well for their hard work.
CrowdContainer is a company that organizes crowd ordering for food - in this case coffee. How does this work? Consumers order their products directly from the farmers, which means that the products get directly to you - no merchants in between. The revenues from these sales will directly go to the farmers. They will be paid a good salary (which is definitely not how it usually works when you buy something in the supermarket!) and they get honest appreciation for their work. Therefore, the farmers have a direct benefit from these crowd orders and don't need to lower their prices to the almost impossible, just in order to be able to sell anything at all.
COFFEE: ORGANIC AND FRESH FROM PERU
CrowdContainer is now planning to order a container of special organic coffee from the Peruvian rainforest. And our goal is to make this campaign successful, so that not only the farmers in Peru will be happy, but everybody who participates in this campaign will get something out of it, too!
As a thank you for supporting this campaign, you will receive a coffee letter: A portion of fresh, organic coffee beans sent to your house, once a month for four months.
The goal is for as many people as possible to order this coffee, so the farmers in Peru can count on our help. And that's where we need you! There are only 7 days left until the campaign ends, and a few more orders are required for it to be successful!
