It's not really about looking good on the outside, or getting a slim bikini body (we don’t believe in that at all over here!), but about feeling confident and radiant from within and being strong and resilient in case you may face any challenges this summer.

The Essence of a Beautiful and Healthy Summer Glow
What exactly is a "summer glow"? It's that luminous light that comes from a blend of good health, deep inner peace, and a mindset of self-love and acceptance. It's about feeling your best in your physical body, having peace with yourself (and the world in general) emotionally, and knowing that no matter what, you can always choose yourself. Here’s how you can cultivate this glow:
1. Your Body Glow: Rest, Move, Nourish
There’s nothing more important than your health. If you don’t have it, you have nothing in this life. The key element to preserving your glow is optimal rest. How can you sleep better? Take mindful breaks? Recharge physically?
With a well-rested body, it’s much easier to motivate yourself to move, because we don’t believe in forcing ourselves to the gym or needing to look a certain way physically. Whether that’s a regular workout routine you enjoy following, a daily walk in the forest, or a high intensity gym session, it’s important to keep the energy moving through your body.
Lastly, you are what you eat, so be mindful of what you put into your body. Summer offers an abundance of fresh and local fruits and vegetables (think antioxidant-rich foods like berries, alkalizing leafy greens, and hydrating cucumbers and watermelons), which is not only sustainable, but also promotes glowing skin health and overall wellbeing.
2. Your Heart Glow: Emotional Wellness
The glow is not a look. It’s a way of life. It’s about how you honor and treat yourself, and how you carry yourself through life’s challenges and hardships. This summer will be the summer of your life if you stop comparing yourself to others, and instead, focus on what you desire and dream of. It will be the summer of your life if you stop trying to pursue happiness and instead, find acceptance and peace in whatever is right now.
Simple practices that can help you get to a radiant heart are meditations, daily gratitude journaling, breathing exercises, and making a list of things you love about yourself.
These practices help you be in the here and now, connect you with your emotions, and help reduce stress to cultivate a peaceful mind and heart.
3. Your Daily Glow: Self-Care Rituals
It’s not enough to know what you should be doing, because the knowledge alone doesn’t cultivate any change. Instead, you need to get into action, feel worthy of the time for you, and make the time for self-care daily. Here are a few affirmations to get you into motion:
It is safe for me to take care of myself.
It is safe for me to practice self-care before I start my work.
It is safe for me to [fill in the blank], even when my calendar is full.
The more I pour into myself, the more I can pour into others.
I deserve to feel my best this summer.
