It’s OK to have a blah day, beautiful!
I’ve felt so cute the other day, and my hair has grown so much since last year, hasn’t it?! But I couldn’t get anything done...
Literally all I’ve done today was reviewing the perfectionist detox training I did in November, which has been on my to do list for weeks and that I kept postponing to “tomorrow” - which, as we all know, never happened. And check all my DMs on all platforms.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Needless to say that my screen time has spiked on that day, which just makes things worse and I felt more anxious, scattered, and nervous. #realtalk⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
So if you ever feel this way (please don’t leave me alone feeling that I’m the only one!?), know that it is 100% safe for you to have a blah day, feel like crap, and not get anything done.
Remember that you’re a human, not a robot, we don’t work like machines
Let go of the expectation to always be perfect and deliver 150%. It’s not sustainable and it won’t work in the long run, unless you burn yourself out eventually. Which we really don’t want.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
We need breaks, we need to recharge, we need to feel what’s there to feel. This, too, is #theglowlife. You can’t go full speed all of the time. ⠀
