Happy September, beautiful! How do you bring in the beginning of a new month?
I love sitting down and thinking about what I want to do, achieve, work on, play with, and enjoy in the new month. I just spent time reflecting with my bestie on goals until the end of the year, but let's stick to this month for now!
The main goal setting questions to ask yourself
This is the absolute main question I want to encourage you to ask yourself is:
How do I want to feel this month?
Besides that, I also ask myself
What is one thing that I want to do this month?
What am I not doing this month?
The answer to the last question in my case is usually something like Netflixing until midnight or several times a week, or spending 4 hours on my phone daily. Setting an intention about what I don't want to do really helps me raise my awareness around that thing!
How to do less
When we set goals, we always think that the more, the better. I actually think that the less, the better.
You are probably a perfectionist and more things on your list overwhelm you even more. What if you only had one goal?
You don't need to do more things, tick more things off your (endless?) list, and get a lot of stuff done. Let's just be present and feel. It is safe for you to do less - or even do nothing at times. And you are still enough!
How to glow up this month
Our transformational (and short) course ENOUGH is a great start if you are struggling with feeling good enough at work, in your relationships, or with yourself. To see what's included and if this is right for you, click here.
Slow Fall Vibes Music. Here's my current favorite slow-down fall-vibes playlist: Lazy Sunday on Spotifyβ
Vegan pumpkin spice chai latte anyone? I've been dying to make this at home (coffee-free pumpkin spice lattes from Starbucks have way too much sugar for me!), so I'm going to make one this month! If you want to join me, checkout this recipe (the first one) that I found on Pinterest. There's also one with coffee in case you drink coffee. And explore other healthy meals that I shared on Pinterest.
Fall teaches us to get ready to let go
Fall is a time to tune inwards, reflect, and get ready to release, just like nature turns inwards, and trees release their leaves before the winter. Let's slowly tune into that energy and appreciate every phase we go through - because much like Mother Nature, each one of our own "seasons" is needed to cultivate the most beautiful, authentically glowing life we deserve!
